I live in South Florida so it starts to get unbearably hot during April. I find myself making this recipe every other day because it is that good. It is so thirst quenching while sitting out under the hot sun and my husband especially enjoys it while mowing the lawn. If you make it, let me know how you like it!
This recipe comes together very quickly and only needs a few ingredients. Water, a lemonade packet such as crystal light (I’m using Aldi’s equivalent), 8 tea bags and mint. Mint is optional but adds such a fresh flavor I strongly suggest using it.

If you have never made sun tea before, you add room temperature water to a mason jar, add your tea bags and place in the sun. It’s that simple.

Once the tea has steeped in the sun for about 4 hours it’s ready to make the lemonade.

Add the steeped tea, lemonade packet, additional 8 cups of water, and mint into a pitcher. No need to refrigerate before enjoying, just serve over ice.
